Wild One Silicone ID Tag

I want to start by saying we loved the name tag at first. It looks great and was great quality. But when we got it, I told my wife that the two strips of silicone on the back where slimmer than I thought they'd be. I told her I wished it was one, thick, solid strip, cause it looked like it would rip after a while. Well this weekend, about 5 months after purchase, that happened. Name tag ripped off...

So just a fair warning to anyone looking to purchase these. In what is likely a decision to save a few cents in manufacturing costs, makes these very susceptible to being ripped off when your dog is playing. Those straps should be much thicker, or one solid piece. It's really a bummer cause the tag as a whole is great, those little strips on the back just make it a gamble if your dog runs off and they tear.

UPDATE: Well I certainly didn't think I'd be updating this post with 24 hours of posting it, but here we are. Within an hour I was reached out to by the Besties customer service team. After reading about our tag ripping, they offered the replacement right away, which honestly, they didn't need to do. We have had the tag since last October, and had no expectation we were entitled to one. The offer was in the first email to me, there was no negotiation about it. They clearly stand by their product and care about their customers. Their customer service team member Lauren was extremely polite, professional, and a pleasure to exchange emails with. She should get all due credit for being fantastic at her job. Besties has a great employee in her.

I am updating my review to be 5*. Not because of the replacement itself, but because we actually do like the product a lot. And despite what I still consider to be a bit of a design detriment in not having 1 large solid band, their customer service puts it over the top.
